Floral Friday – Forsythia

I totally missed this week’s Floral Friday post! Eeeeek! With the garden starting to pop with color I couldn’t let a week go by without sharing so you are getting your floral fix on Sunday so we don’t miss a week! šŸ™‚

Forsythia is my favorite plant to force open inside, which I did 2 weeks ago. Alongside crocus and snow drops its one of the first blossoms to show each spring. They last was always seems like such a short time – a week in bloom and they haveĀ already started to fade. I’m not too sad though as my tulips, daffodils and paperwhites have started to pop open. Just wait for this week’s Floral Friday!

I had a little fun playing with the photo editor and am sharing the 2 ‘played with’ versions (top two) and theĀ original (last). I’m not much for the photo editing process as I feel like a photograph should be kept in its truest form and not mucked with. Not to say that the photographers who do a lot of post editing don’t have beautiful photos – because they do. This is just my personal preference.
