Last week you may remember I got my first share of mushrooms from our CSA. I ended up using them in Homemade Mac & Cheese using this recipe from Annie Mahle over at At Home, At Sea. The recipe is live on the newspaper website for a week but Annie promised to post it on her blog soon. I’ll come back and update with a link when it’s up. (Oh and yes, the German Chocolate Cake photo is mine 🙂
Oh and in case you were wondering….this weeks mushrooms are Yellow Foot (or Winter Chanterelles)!! I’m thinking of sautéing them and either having them over steak or putting them in a sauce over pasta, or perhaps in risotto.
