I didn’t find too many recipes to bookmark over the week but did enjoy the following which have moved from blog to paper.

I can’t wait to get cooking!

Last week you may remember I got my first share of mushrooms from our CSA.  I ended up using them in Homemade Mac & Cheese using this recipe from Annie Mahle over at At Home, At Sea. The recipe is live on the newspaper website for a week but Annie promised to post it on her blog soon. I’ll come back and update with a link when it’s up. (Oh and yes, the German Chocolate Cake photo is mine 🙂

Yellow Foot Mushrooms/Winter Chanterelles

Oh and in case you were wondering….this weeks mushrooms are Yellow Foot (or Winter Chanterelles)!! I’m thinking of sautéing them and either having them over steak or putting them in a sauce over pasta, or perhaps in risotto.
