Over the summer a few of my photos have appeared on line in a variety of places. Here are a few.
This photo of Chef Anne Mahle taking a batch of sticky buns out of the woodstove aboard the Schooner J&E Riggin appeared on Delicious Musings, a lifestyles blog, by my friend Sharon Kitchens. Sharon was writing about the last day of the sailing season and having sticky buns for breakfast. I can say first hand that these are delicious and the only reason to look forward to the last day of sailing aboard the Riggin.
Sharon wrote again in November about cooking in a tiny kitchen. She used my photo of the galley to show the small space in which Chef Anne Mahle makes 3 meals a day for up to 30 people.
In early November the Midcoast Maine Chamber of Commerce used this photo of pumpkins and squash on their blog as their first Monday’s Midcoast Maine Mental Health Break. This once a week post will showcase a bright and colorful photo from around the Midcoast area using photos from Maine photographers.
Before Thanksgiving Sharon, who also writes for Examiner.com as Portland Maine’s Sustainable Food Examiner, posted this photo to go with the Cranberry, Pecan and Sage Stuffing recipe from Chef Anne.
A few over the summer appeared in the Portland Press Herald’s Maine Ingredient column as well, but they only keep the articles online back 6 to 8 weeks or so.
Every time a photo of mine is published somewhere, I still get excited.
