A new blog life.

You may have noticed that this blog has been quiet for the last several month. When life happens you just go with the flow. I’d much rather miss posting and sharing than miss out on what’s happening around me. As I’ve found myself with a little more free time….not exactly true but here I am going with the flow again 🙂 I wanted to get back to it. With a new purpose in mind I starting thinking about how I wanted to share photos, thoughts, recipes and my life in Maine. As I was talking about renaming this blog I starting thinking about what I really love to do. I love to ramble around Maine, make photographs of what I see, stop at Farmers Markets and roadside stands, pick up edibles that I can bring home and prepare for my family, and I love to ramble on about what has me fired up. Since I live on the rocky coast of Maine, Rocky Coast Ramblings made perfect sense.

I’ve missed writing. My first blog started out as an online journal that no one read and that was okay because it became an outlet for writing.  Then as I got more serious about photography and the blog morphed into a photo journal with Project 365, where you take one photo a day for a year. As I learned more about blogging and the different platforms out there I realized I loved how Word Press worked and switched my blog from Blogger over to Word Press (to be referred to as WP from now on).  So here I am back where I started and combining all the things I love together in once place. Enjoy.

  1. Hey Liz,

Can’t wait to read all your blogs, and see how you’ve grown as a photographer. Please post links to new updates via Twitter so I won’t miss them!

    1. Awww – thanks Cin 🙂 I’m excited to get back to it. I have Twitter linked with WP so everytime I post a tweet will go up 🙂
