Day Five

I can’t help but go out in the backyard and take photos of the peonies that are so big and beautiful. A couple of weeks ago I met a photographer, Michael Whitman, who I had “met” on MySpace and became “friends” with. Then at the Penobscot Bay Area Chamber of Commerce– Business After Hours that the J&E Riggin hosted, I met him in person. It was kinda of cool to be chatting with someone and then asking them if they have a MySpace, lol. Anyway he looked at my camera and showed me that my camera could take photos in black & white and in sepia. Needless to say I’ve been playing around with it. I thought with how white the flowers were with all the green that it might look nice. That brings me to the photo of the day. I actually have it here in all three mediums – color, black & white and sepia. I’d love to hear which one you like the most!

  1. These are great! I love the concept of the 365 photos, and your pictures so far are neat – especially the starfish.Glad to hear about the chicks, too. 🙂

  2. I think sepia second, but the greens are so vibrant I’d have to go full color for this shot.Awesome meeting you too, can’t wait to have time to do it again.Fair winds and following seas,Michael Whitman
