Another one of our Christmas break activities was ice skating at MRC (Midcoast Recreation Center). I’ve only skated once and it was on a rink with very few people so I sat this one out and knit on a hat while Mark, Ra, Ri, and A skated. We all had a good time.

Just the other day I walked outside and out of the corner of my eye saw a flash of yellow in the strawberry patch. This lone dandelion. Such a strange sight for the first week of December but it was a lovely splash of color among the green and red leaves.
