Did you watch Touch last night?! What did you think? I, for one, will be tuning in when it starts airing March 19th. I tell you I gasped, cried, and then held my breath for 30 seconds all in a 2 minute period. If every episode is as good as the pilot FOX will have another hit on their hands.
Now onto tonight. We’ve got several new episodes but they are unfortunately outnumbers with reruns. Thank goodness we are close to February. Why you ask? Well the Nielsen ratings of February sweeps of course. This year the Feb sweeps are February 2nd to the 29th. During this time all the networks will air new episodes looking for a bigger piece of the pie. You typically see your biggest named guest stars during this time to. Personally I think the whole Nielsen system is flawed and definitely outdated but since on one has come up with a better idea its the rating source networks and advertisers look at. What I think of the system is a whole post on itself but not one for tonight.
Tonight I’ll be catching Big Bang Theory and The Finder. I gave Rob another shot last week and as much as I love Cheech Marin (Cheech & Chong and Nash Bridges) and Diana Maria Riva (The Good Guys) I just can’t find the humor in it. Sorry Rob. The DVR will catch The Firm for me (have to save it for the hubster) I’ll probably catch up on some DVR’d shows at 10. Does anything look good to you?
